 New Homes and heating

When building a new home, many times the general contractor assigns the installation of the heating system to the lowest bidder or the same company that installs the toilets. This may not be in your best long term interest. Our focus is on heating and we will make sure that your new system has the capacity to supply both heat and ample amounts of air volume to those far rooms "over the garage" (usually).  We often get called to correct a problem that a given room does not get enough heat in the winter and not enough cooling in the summer, mostly because someone decided to cut the cost with a mere $200.00 and undersize the ducts without giving the choice to the homeowner or the opportunity to make that decision.  the results are that the homeowner will live frusterated in a home for many years to come shuffling space heaters and window a/c's from room to room. So if you are building a new home we will take the time to discuss with you the do's and dont's even if you decide to have the work done by a relative.
